Brisk “Vagrancy” | Music Video

One of our shop riders “Brisk” just put out the video for the song ‘Vagrancy’ off his new mixtape ‘The Samurai Camploo Tape.’ The video was shot at our new shop and just goes to prove how talented Brisk is on a skateboard and also on the mic. The beat was produced by Raz Fresco who is killing the hip-hop game by producing beats for Big Sean, Wale, French Montana, Tyga, Mac Miller and much more.

Munky Biz Skate Shop at West49

We recently went to west49 in Brampton to see if we could work together and cross-promote because we both supply skateboards in our community. I was appalled and dismayed by the lack of service and the blatant disrespect for our shop and what we stand for, helping the community. To say the least it was very disappointing, but you be the judge.

Update: Sunday June 12, 2011 7:43P.M. Our video was reported and deleted off of Facebook and YouTube; We can only assume it was West49 because it made them look very bad from the bad service to the unnecessary slander about our company. So we uploaded the video directly to our website because people deserve to know the truth.

Brampton Guardian: New skate shop opens

Neil Adams, owner of Munky Bizness, celebrated the opening of his new skateboard shop in downtown Brampton recently.
The store, located at 43 Queen St. E., sells equipment, shoes and other apparel for skateboarders.
Munky Bizness started off in 2008 as an online venture aimed at providing local skateboarders with an affordable alternative to the more “pricey” shops.
The response was amazing, said Adams, who decided to set up a storefront locale in this city’s core.
Adams said his new store is a “vital stepping stone” in his overall plans for success.
The 27-year-old North Park Secondary School graduate said he is currently working on a proposal for the City of Brampton to open an indoor skate park with a community center.
“The plan is logical and necessary and would be a great benefit to the community,” Adams said.
